I appear to have pulled the trigger on something elsewhere, so potentially have this sorted now.
I’m looking for a steel road frame that was pretty nice in its day, for a parts bin winter road beater I’m putting together. I want to spend as little as possible, naturally.
52cm or thereabouts. Probably needs posting as I’m in Bristol, although I can potentially sort London collection if necessary.
Cheeky bump by way of adding details:
I'm ideally after something circa 90s, internal top tube routing, 1" steerer, for recessed nut brakes, dirt cheap. You know the sort of thing.
I've got a 1990's 52cm french frame - If I remember rightly it's Columbus SL but it's been resprayed in a dull green colour.
I've no idea who made it but it's rather nice, takes a BSA BB and has braze-on downtube cable stops for brifters, internal top tube cable routing and a front mech braze-on so I'm guessing it's 90's. Forks are non-original Raleigh 653 and clear-coated
I can take a pic if you're interested
Hey thanks for this, but I actually found something. I’ve not got my hands on it yet though, so I’m not counting my chickens yet :-)
No worries - good luck with the project!
