Anyone have one? I need to turn 4 small holes in a sheet of steel into threaded holes to accept four little screw-in feet.
Where are you? I have one close to Hersham station KT123EW
Alternatively you can hack yourself one
ps in the UK they are generally called nutserts, rivnuts is an american term.
You can pick the less sophisticated ones up fairly cheaply.
I’m in Catford. Handy to know you can bodge it. Shall do that. Ta!
If using a home made tool, use aluminium nutserts as opposed to stainless steel ones. The aluminium ones require less "pull up " force and are threrfore easier to set.
I’d ordered steel ones, so I’ll buy some alloy ones now. Good shout.
