• With a heavy heart etc etc etc...

It's a Maxi Sports team / Cyrille Guimard branded frame with the BB shell stamped 1994, made by Cyfac I believe. Originally belonged to a R Pierre. Maxi Sports was used by the Castorama team in the 90s. There are a few other examples online if you want more info.

It's got fork ends and is not drilled for a back brake, but the geo isn't track aggressive so is perfect for fixed road riding. Just about takes 28c tyres.

Size is 56 tt 57 st. I'm 5'11" and was nice to ride slammed due to the relatively high stack.

Condition is used, it's been locked up and has quite a few scratches/'patina' but no dents. There is a light surface rust patch under the rear brake bridge (or whatever it's called if there's no brake hole).

Was sold to me as Columbus SLX, I can't verify that but the whole bike is under 8.5kg according to my luggage scales.

27.2mm seatpost, BSA thread so easy to swap parts out.

    Crankset: Dura Ace 7400
    Headset: DA 7400
    Brake: DA 7400
    Seatpost: DA 7410 (NJS)
    Stem: 3ttt 110mm
Seat: Specialized Toupe (ti rails & carbon reinforced)
Wheels: H Plusson TB14 on Novatecs; rear rim never braked on
Tyres: Rubino pro; rear is worn so will throw in a free replacement.
Chainring: Sugino 75. I think it's the 3/32 version intended for double chainsets.
Pedals: not included but can add some Ultegra SPD-SL.

Now splitting . See below posts.

Collection from Bromley or Old St or somewhere along the way.
