I've recently bought some Campag ergos and went to the shop the other day to get some inner brake cables so i can fit them to my bike. I didn't specify campag inners - are these different diameter to Shimano ones (which I presume the shop has supplied)?
Also, presuming that they are Shimano diameter, will the outer cables that I've bought (for both brake and gear) be compatible with the Campagnolo shifters?
Apologies for the bump - basically, is using Shimano-compatible gear and brake inners and outers going to ruin my Veloce ergoshifters?
I don't know about the outers, but the inners shouldn't fit nicely in the lever because the cable end is a different size/shape (not that I've ever tried - maybe it will fit...)
Cheers! Think I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and get some new cables.
