I would recommend the multibull system, preferably employing Friesians and Jerseys for nastiness and agility.
Aigle are probably the most comfortable wellie, but don't last in daily use. Barbour wax jackets leak like a sieve if not regularly waxed and are like cardboard in cold weather, Goretex liners ftw.

I heard that only the barbour jackets sold in the UK have that distinctive mouldy old piss smell. Barbour jackets sold in all other countries moved to an odourless wax decades ago.

This is the ideal wellington boot. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

Barbour will add fabric onto the sleeves to make them longer, it's one of the only jackets I have which fits.

Really? I must inform my gibbon of this useful fact.

Filson tin cloth jacket ftw
Material is made in same factory as Barbour fabric but about 3 times heavier.

It was a few years ago now and I think it cost £30-£50. I got about 12cm added on. From memory you were limited to the basic ones, but that might have changed.

"It's a 10 foot pot and the line looks simple but there's a tricky slant on this green. He's come unstuck here before in a similar position in...oh...wait...HERE COMES THE BULL! [screaming]"
I reckon I would watch that.
