Dedham Vale via Manningtree.
some of what i did last weekend would work.

I've done a few of these - there are some lovely spots in the chilterns very easily accessible from High Wycombe. I've done a few in Kent as well from stations just after Tunbridge Wells, basically I just look for a train station near a large area of woodland and a handily located pub...
Never done it but just spotted Haslemere and National Trust - Black Down.
Ticks all boxes! Station, pubs and woods. I've added to my list as well...
Trained out to Guildford and then found an old train line turned into a foot/cycle path to pootle along before setting up camp. Not particularly athletic trip but some lovely corners of the Surrey countryside - must do more often
Looks great. 2nd pic is marvellous
Interesting seeing the reaction of my colleagues when i said I'd been wild camping...obviously outside their usual repertoire
