I built up a bike with 1980s SR, rims are FIR EU90
squeaky brakes after first rain, cleaned the rims very carefully and exchanged brake pads for brand new Kool Stop pads, but no difference?!
Do I need another rubber mix for those rim or what?
Toe them in?
I don't understand
First Google hit - only cursory check, but should explain it.
oh man, I did't know that could be adjusted !
good thing to know after bike nr 8
thanks so much
On the plus side, squeaky brakes scare the f*ck out of pedestrians who step out into the road!
Oh yeah, I am enjoying this so much ATM ;D
