Luckily avoided death when this dropped out earlier - anyone had a kit for something else and has one of these spare?

I had a similar problem a few weeks ago. A friend's son's mountain bike lost a bolt from there and I managed to fix it using an allen key seat bolt. It was a perfect fit and has been fine ever since. You should be able to get one from your local bike shop.
These are the offending parts! Bearings still present
. Just the below bolt (the black is just a little plastic spacer which I assume presses against the sealed bearings)
