If you are still after a Brooks C17, I have a black carved all weather in the parts bin I don't need. I'm from Ghent so we can arrange something!
Cheers! Just sent you a DM.
This looks lush, and makes me want to sell my Bullitt. Subbed.
Good luck with build dude, this is gona look sick!
I'd recommend the extension bar as well, it's very useful. I know I need to cut my steerer, don't @ me...
Here is the spreadsheet with all the components. The weights are either from me, or from R2 bikes.
If you want fat tires for comuting or gravel then i would recommend build it up with 650b Tubeless Ready rims (like some DTSwiss rims) and WTB Horizon tires.
In front 406 wide rim plus Maxxis Torch.
Thats what i did with my Omnium Cargo Ti.
It is very comfy and durable. Looks sick in skinwall😉
pictures please.... :)
Nice dude, excited to see this progress!
Small update : got the kickstand in the mail yesterday I got it for cheap on sale on a Dutch website, and I also did the classic "Omnium Cargo Inner Tube Weave" on the cargo platform (6 26" inner tubes from Decathlon, less than 8€).
The wheels are on their way (Omnium's own brand,700c rear and 406 with Shutter SP Dyno hub on the front) along with the tires, tubes, rim tapes and rotors.
In the end I ordered a pair of Conti Double Fighter III, out of curiosity and for extra front & rear matchy-matchy blissfulness.
I have Decathlon inner tubs on my cargo deck too, they’ve stood up well to year or so of abuse.
Good to know !
Today was a good mail day. Got pretty much everything wheel-related!
