Ok so, i've listed this frame on here before about a year ago, but it never ended up selling so i got another year of use out of her in the end. However as nice as it is, a string of back and knee injuries are preventing me from being able to ride pure race geometry bikes anymore without being in pain. Will be sad to see it go but, i'm keen to get rid this time as i really could do with swapping it with an old man sportive bike with a tall headtube and so i can go ride without a pack of ibuprofen in my jersey pocket!
This is a gen 1 Genesis Volare frame, it is made out of Reynolds 853 has an ENVE fork, it looks mint and goes like f**K. I've had it built up with a total weight of 8.2 kg's with Dura Ace, but a modest set of components, which is very good for a steel bike IMHO. you could probably get it down to 7.5kg if you go full bling on the wheels and finishing kit.
The main draw here is obviously the paint work, It has been professionally painted by Colourburn studios in a wild psychedelic design full of rad little details. i bought it from the man himself from this forum a couple of years ago, and enjoyed a great couple of seasons of riding it, draws heads everywhere it goes. It hasn't been treated as a tarty show bike so there a several small paint chips here and there but overall it is in good condition.
frame is a 54 cm, and the fork steerer is cut to allow you to run 18 cm worth of stack with spacers. also included are the installed shimano bb86 and polished Hope headset. based in Leeds so it will most likely need posting,
