I'm a miserly student and for the price of my local bike shops it costs close to getting a new set of bars!
If anyone has any cutting implement for the small job, I'd be grateful
Located E14 but obvs happy to travel around
Use a pipe cutter instead,
I've got one in E8 you can use if you don't just get one of the above.
Great shout, didn't know these were a thing, will be ordering one for a fiver but will give you a shout if it doesn't work out, thanks all
*..also didn't realise hacksaws were so cheap
Bit more expensive but well worth it,
Ali bars pretty much just fall apart as soon as they see the thing and steel bars don't put up much fight either.
Also in E8 with said tool and file if needed cheers k
these are bloody brilliant! straight cuts without trying and will do posts and steerers!
Plus you can even use them for plumbing, who knew. !!!!
These can do steerers, bars, seatposts et al, with a nice clean straight cut you say...? A few jobs of that nature need doing, I think an investment might be worthwhile.
Its not something i use daily, but when I do, im glad I have it
