Hi there LFGSS, i'm a bit new to this and not sure how to use the site yet - so please do correct me if this question should be posted somewhere else...
I'm looking for a bit of advice from someone who's had experience with something in particular... Has anyone used a cheap, full carbon fork on their bike in London before? I mean the unbranded, cheap as hell ones, around the £5 - £50 range. If so, what was it like? good? bad? did you have any problems?
ones like this:
I am building a (very) cheap casual single speed (not fixed) for running around town. Not for commuting, not really ever going to be on it for more than 25 minutes at a time. 100% kept inside.
Hey. Check out this thread. 200 odd pages rambling on about this sort of thing.
(Might be worth skipping to some more recent posts for newer info... things have probably changed over the past 8 years!)
Hope you enjoy the site and feel welcome
thanks getoutofbed, I will have a look!
