What’s the budget as I have some barely used Mavic Cosmic Exalith Wheels to sell?
-
• #3
300-400 £ - your cosmics are prob a little to bling for the build I’m doing!
-
• #4
Ok shame I’d need £500 for them as they are close to new condition wise.
What are you building?

Slimming down my bike life - I’m ‘downgrading’ my giant tcr so it’s cheaper to maintain and more usuable all year round (hence the alloy brake tracks) and chucking some 105 onto it I already have, then can get rid of my other road bike

There is a guy in my club selling a set of Cosine 40s for £400. I can try to put you in touch if you like. Not sure they have alloy brake tracks mind you.

A good bet for this are vision t42. Wildly overlooked and easy to find for under 400 im new condition. The carbon is structural

are you sure you're only after alloy braking surface? Ive got a set of American Classic Carbon 40 wheels that have been sitting about unused since moving to disc brakes.
Wheels in great nick with less than 1500 miles on them.https://www.pezcyclingnews.com/technspec/american-classic-40-carbon-clincher-review/
same as those

I'm after some Carbon clinchers with Alloy braking surface - 38/40mm Depth or thereabouts.
China carbon is fine by me.
