Can anyone help with this conundrum?
I’m wondering whether it’s possible to take off the big chainring on a triple crank and run smaller chain rings i.e. 26+36 using a Tiagra 4700 front mech? Will the mech be able to cope with the small ring?
The idea is get lower gears on a road set up.
Few people have done similar.
Also ask @amey he know everything about baiks
Brilliant. Thanks for the link.
I've got a new Sugino triple chainset in 165mm (110BCD) if you're short-legged. If you want to go HT2 and buy some NOS Ultegra 6603, drop bicyclist.cc a line, they should be able to source one for you.
Hey. Thanks for the info. It’s is going to be HT2 so i’ll drop bicyclist a line. Thanks.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
