Hills were hilled and an alternative libation venue worked out
I enjoyed that. I think the correct amount of pints were drunk to reach a quorum.
Bus route hills tomorrow. Staying off the quiet bits that might not be gritted
I keep thinking I should come and do this, then life gets in the way. Won’t be there tomorrow, so maybe next week.
Would be great to see you one evening
Calling this off. Broken hips ain't worth it.
Looks warmer tomorrow so pencilling it in for then, early as poss.
I was on the edge, it was cold riding home! More time to sort out my cantis
17.32 @ HHV tonight. Should be a few degrees above freezing
WTF is Wednesday hills?
Wednesday salty bus route hills worked really well.
The next two weeks I’m a maybe, especially if I can use it to convince @pastry_bot. to go tile hunting
Gon' be dry and not icy tomorrow.
Business as usual. 18.42 @ HHV
Which hills do you tackle on this? Keen to come along at some point (ill today, though).
I'm sure there's a route on Strava if a user could post that here?
But it's a few round College, a few round Stanbourne etc and then over to Kirkdale and Canonbie.
Ah, Canonbie. Which 'face' or do you do both ways?
This is usual route at the moment, except ending at Ivy House. Canonbie is up the short way.
Ah cool. That looks pretty similar to the route I used to do when I was 'training' to do a mini 'Tour of Flanders'. Fox Hill and Canonbie Road providing the 'fuck, this is steep' experience I felt I needed to be able to tackle the Koppenberg.
Thought something wasn't feeling right. New chain installed so am in for this evening. Best weather we've had in a while.
Did you replace the chain but keep that chainring?
Hills, Canonbie pic, pub.
Of course, badly maintained 26k km and it still has all its teeth. Thank god chainrings are tougher than chains.
Yeah the crank will probably go before the chainring
The chainring is so worn the gear is probably 2" smaller now
Cos Miche, yup you probably right. This was my last one:
