There were hills
I think I saw your shadowy spectres ghosting along CPP.
Could well have been, there was actually a rival hills ride out tonight on a very similar route/schedule too
I saw them splitters too. They looked faster
Will be out tonight. Planning to be at HHV gates at 7 (or by the stands if the gates are open).
Yes! this is the first time i've actually spotted this before the event has happened! as opposed to seeing it on @cagimaha Strava.
gonna do my best to make it @inappropriate_bike
Sorry I didn't see you - gave it until five past but was getting cold. Maybe next week!
Hills was fun but cold enough to make me worry about ice.
Is this still happening? I've moved back south, a local hilly ride would be perfect if still open for new riders... I guess it may need to wait till the group of 6 restriction is lifted but I'd love to come down if/when happening again...
No reason this can't start up again with a maximum group size of 6. I'm not sure I can do next Tuesday but if anyone else wants to arrange a start time people could put their names down here
I'd be keen, although if 6 of the established hillers wanted in equally happy to stand aside till restrictions are lifted.
First come, first served is fine. If more than 6 want to do it, just have two groups.
Is this the earliest anyone's ever got 'the excuses'™ in? A week before the first ride back and within a post of declaring interest as a new rider :D
Weather looks fishy next week.
Ha! Have I mentioned my old knee injury, the fact my bike hasn't been down-shifting well since that 'off' in the Alps a few years back and my exercise-induced asthma which is threatening to resurface? 🤦♂️🤣🍺
Back down to a low of 1ºC?!
Rule of 6(PM) compliant hills tomorrow. Perhaps there can be a 2nd group that leaves later?
18.02 roll out HHV:
18.42 roll out HHV:
But which pub afterwards?
Might be a bit cold though?
I'm sure @leggy_blonde will be happy packing a jacket in his barbag...
He's such a WoutBoi
yOU MEAn yoU havENT boOked tHE WoODhOUse?!!!?!11
@leggy_blonde Obviously booked the firepit table and blue woowoos all round
Spotted a couple of South hillers on my ride home!
Was it Phil's woowoo coloured bar tape that gave it away?
