FS: Selle San Marco Rolls Rare Union Jack

For Sale;

Just bought this on eBay from Australia as these are very hard to find these days!

It cost me £60 plus £20 in customs duty so I’m in £80 currently.

My plans have since changed so don’t have a home for it now so going to sell it to someone who will hopefully use it.

It has the odd scuff and visible wear but is in perfectly good serviceable condition.

I don’t expect to recoup my costs so asking £50 plus postage.

It’s a hard to find saddle and would look great on a fixie.

I'm afraid I don't qualify for an Irish passport and won't be going back to travelling on a Grenadian one as that keeps.me in immigration for ever.

I am technically entitled to a Romanian passport as my paternal grandfather was born there and a soldier in the British army during WW1....He was offered British nationality in1918 but could not be bothered to apply...so he remained a Romanian up till he died in 1978...however...I don't know where in Romania he was born or which year he was born or his true surname...so a few obstacles! I would need to hire a Romanian lawyer to do the research...I know he was probably born between 1890 and 1896...he volunteered in 1914 so had to be 18.

Decent and trustworthy lawyers, anywhere!! OK, I know at least one here as I picked up a free damaged frame from one but I can't remember his name and, more importantly, be bothered to look it up.

I suspect you would use a genealogist to do the research in Romania as opposed to a lawyer. They would need to find birth and census records etc.

Yes...maybe but for a passport you might need a lawyer....either way, the difficulty is finding someone trustworthy...someone who won't take the money and then disappear.
