Wheel not running smoothly when in-situ

Front wheel super smooth
Rear the same until QR tightened. Freehub (cleaned/serviced) spinning beautifully even when in frame and pedals turning; resistance is when all squeezed even tightened. At a guess a gentle spin of the wheels when untightened spins 6 times as many revolutions as when QR tightened

Kk - going to have a go at slightly loosening bearings; hopefully a bit of trial/error will get me to the sweetspot

are they originally QR wheels?
cos my aksiums were the same problem as you --- but i was fitting QR adaptors to them, for some reason the combination of drive/non drive and different types of adaptors gave me issues with what you had, eventually after a lot of faffing and swapping adaptors and buying 3 sets (2 of them wrong) they eventually fitted ok and when the QR lever tightened were fine.

Actually it was a just a case of loosening the pre-load a touch and through feel and trial/error getting it just right so the QR takes up a smidgen of play. Now
spinning beautifully. Many thanks
