Crete - anyone been and have any suggestions

Off to Crete on the family hols on Friday (July 27) and will be taking my bike with me

Does anyone have any suggested rides they could share?

I know Cyclist magazine did a feature on Crete a few years back and I've got a copy of that

Take a gravel bike. Anything other than a main road will be hard work on a road bike with anything less than 30mm tyres.

It’s a gravel bike paradise.

its hard to plan any kind of ride in Crete without at least half of it being on gravel roads or tracks.

Road bikes are staying at home so I like the sound of that!
