Glad I got your attention :)
We're looking to create a regular blog showcasing nice routes and rides in and around London and we need some help with content. This isn’t a full time job or anything, just a simple way to earn some beer cash when you’re out on a ride. We will pay out for each route we end up using and will cite you as the original author.
All we're looking for is a GPS file of the route, a few pics / short videos of nice or notable parts of it and a short 250~500 word description. Then send it our way and we’ll polish and publish it. The only rules are no plagiarising, and the photos must be your own.
Ping me a message if you’re interested and I can send you an example of what we’re looking for and we can take it from there.
I'm sure my 6 hours out the A4, pick nearest pub and drink pint of ale and pint of coke while forcing crips into any air gaps, turn around and ride home would be a hot item on this site...
I've been thinking about building something very similar to this for a while now. Guess I should have got round to it sooner. What website is this for?
It's not for a site really, more like a blog e-book which we maintain as part of Honor Cycles. Here is a link to the one we currently have:
It's a bit shallow on details and using google maps was not the best idea, hence why we're looking for GPX files and a bit more depth in the descriptions.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
