Obvs the golden rule is you never ask to use tools, so I loved how Brixton encouraged you to learn to fix your own bike (doing themselves out of an easy few quid) by lending basic tools and offering guidance - provided you were polite

This is incredibly sad if 100% confirmed. They were a proper institution. Last breed of actual bike shop with some humanity. Not soulless boxes that hustle to the final margin. It'll be sorely missed.
