Thanks for sharing this. I may have met you at the Halfway House in March when a lot of the KWCC came to Andy's get together. I can't do Wednesday but will see Andy's dad at the Roebuck this evening.
Thanks for letting us know. Much appreciated. Did somebody post on your forum about tonight's drinks at the Roebuck?
Not sure where’s the Roebuck and what time and I’ll stick something up
The Roebuck is in Old Dover Street SE1. People arriving from half five. Some of Andrew's family are coming.
Cheers, had a bit of a look and it is on the forum but I will link to this on our fb page as well.
Hope you have a good celebration of a fine person tonight.
Go n-éirí an bóthar leat
My sister just told me the sad news!
He was such a generous nice guy, so strong willed and determined to beat this that I thought he would do it again. He’s posts over the last year have been an education and inspired others.
Here’s to you Andy. Rest in peace.
Don't know what to say other than may you rest in peace Andrew.
You are love Andy. If you get a chance ride down to South easts thread, you'll find a load northern that love you. With a ton of easts. And west's by the bucket load. And fair few south's. We all were there to say goodbye. Ride safe.
Saw this on Insta not knowing he was a LFGSS rider. Very, very sad news. Such a strong person.
RIP Andy you hard bastard, I thought you were invincible.
laps of unlimited ventoux <3. miss you buddy
(deleted to avoid conflicting posts about funeral arrangements)
For those not on fb?
thanks. i've got approved leave from work. see those of you there
Ok, so I think there has been a little break down in communication. Just spoke to Andy's Dad and there is only going to be room for a maximum of ten forumengers.
This means that we're going to have to get organised.
List? Seems a bit strict but also need to make sure that the ten spaces are used.
Sadly I can't . Work won't permit time off unfortunately.
I have enrolment at work so can't make it.
I will cycling up to the funeral.
It will held on the wednesday 28th of August at 9.30am. The location will be Kemnal Park Cemetery, A20 Sidcup Bypass, BR7 6RR.
Just logged in and seen this news Awful and so ruddy unfair.
RIP Andrew and hope you’re somewhere with a neat set of wheels. Thoughts with family and friends.
