NOW SOLD
Up for sale is a gorgeous Humber (later bought by Raliegh) with the original 3 speed Sturmey Archer hub and top tube shifter!
Size wise it's between 56 and 58cm. I can't recall of the top of my head. I'm just shy of 6ft and it suits me fine, but then again my girlfriend also used it comfortably for her daily bike and she's 5'8"...
I bought it from the neighbour of the chap who'd owned it since new - the neighbour was a bike restorer and brought it back to its former glory with a fresh paint job, new decals, cables etc...
I'll include the original drop bars and levers in the sale so you can easily turn it back into a lovely Eroica machine - or you could just as easily convert it to single speed / fixed (my original intention!).
The rear triangle has had a cold press treatment so that it could take a modern cassette - I believe the original owner wanted to update it and then ended up getting too old to ride anyway... The wheel still runs perfectly true and the chain line is totally fine - just worth mentioning :)
I bought it about a year and a half ago for £250, and spent over £150 getting a new front wheel, new tyres, bars, brakes etc - so I could use it as my fun, fair-weather commuter...
It's daylight robbery at £200, so I'm not taking offers - cash is king on this one, so dibs only last so long...

PS. bars are the other way around now for ultra comfort :)
