Funnily enough, I thought of neon yellow when I asked the question, with a fade is even better, would a magenta/pink to yellow fade be too much?

Yes and done sooooo much. Once you find a specific colour scheme on a Brother it is dead

Good point

Seems the bar is set pretty low for the yellow/white fade 🤣

Please don't do a fast and furious fade.

Sorry what

Surely neon to clear coat is the only fade worth doing

Neon is going to be huge for SS25. You're ahead of the curve

This will work both with black and tan tyres.
And I reckon it will look wicked with my pewter Chris King Headset

How about those colors but then not a front to back fade, but fades all over like this;

Could be fun. A bit like the car ^
I am thinking the front to back fade is the right option for this specific frame. There's a lot going on by with the golf ball head tube already and I think a solid colour up the will accentuate this

So cool!
What's the DT? It reminds me of those 'aero' steel frames built by a few old school UK builders in the 2000s.
Max toptube is always a great look too :)

I can remember the exact model but it was the biggest Columbus aero dt i could get from Ceeway. It was a bitch to hold while mitring but it looks great.
Totally into steel aero bikes

Smart of Rose to do a pre-sun bleached neon so fewer customers complain.

Well my painter has shut down business so I have three different options:
1) go for nickle plating like I mentioned a while back. I still have found any evidence that this is supposedly more harmful for the environment than paint as long as chemicals are disposed of in the correct way.
2) I powder coat it myself. I have a neon yellow powder I would like to use. Problem is that my oven isn't ready and I so much other work I'd rather someone else did the finish.
3) there's a new local painter here in Aarhus who seems like a nice guy and he'd like a custom bike so maybe there's some skill swap that could lead to wild paint job. In that case anything is possible. Which is an issue as deciding on colours are also a very difficult thing for me :)
Right now I quite fancy a white (rear) to neon yellow (front) fade with loads of oversized logos :)
