cus @Jules will be jelly?
No because you're copying me
No, because they're butt ugly
its never stopped me before!
I got the aliexpress version of these, they're decent. But have a rough finish...
I'm gonna order some I think
yeah I already have one of these (from planet-x) so i'll likely order another just to save money and hassle and pages of bottle cage discussion.
I'm not sure why I did -- the weight savings are lost on a straggler. Looks pretty tho.
Whatever you do -- not blackburn chicane. The thing can't hold a bottle.
is the planet x one good? I need to replace my shitty blackburn chicanes on my ritchey. too many bottles falling out...
edit: planet x also have a 20% off tyres at the mo -- vitorria corsa g+
from what I can see they are literally exactly the same as any of the china ones and some other places I've seen selling them
i had a similar situation with a broken china bontrager cage that ejected a bottle when i hit A pot hole while riding with @Jules managed to somehow catch it on my foot and my crank arm and roll to a stop without dropping it.
Shame the Chicanes are shit, have you tried the old bend em in a bit method?
I have. An empty bottle moves up about 10mm over very bumpy ground. Other than that, haven't lost a bottle yet.
Slight hijack; Any idea what the Corsa G+ Is like in the wet?
shit. I just use it on my best bike (ritchey) which I protect from the mean/harsh elements...
Double Shit. Thanks though, GP4 seasons I guess!
i'll try taking a sledgehammer to them tomorrow.
are you gonna get a new schmancy pants equilibrium?
i'll take a sledgehammer to them tomorrow and see
you getting a new fancy pants one?
Completely shit in even slightly damp weather. Will pick up every bit of flint for miles around and they'll all cause punctures.
I was so annoyed after 4 punctures in one damp ride that I emailed vittoria who told me that they're race tyres so that's why they punctured.
Was going to reply asking who races on 28c clinchers and why they give the corsa a higher puncture protection rating than the rubinos on their site, but realised I was probably taking it all a bit too seriously...
He's getting the 2016 grey, yellow and black one
Maybe I just need another bike ;-)
As jules said im getting this...
Well technically I actually already have it, but imagine the shock and horror when I opened the box up to find the headtube was not round :( quick email to paul milnes cycles on sunday afternoon and by mid day monday my replacement had been shipped out and they are collecting the bodged one at the same time! So SHOUT OUT MY MAIN MAN PAUL
