I work for an artisan bakery in SE1 and we're looking for a new delivery rider to deliver our bread around Bermondsey on Sundays. We have a brilliant cargo bike and it's roughly 5hrs work a week, though more hours are available if you fancy joining in with other bakery jobs. Perfect if you want to learn how to make brilliant bread as well as ride a bike.
Just so you know, it's a 6am start, but you'll get free bread and a brilliant breakfast!
Drop me a message if you're interested or need more information.
Do you pay london living wage?
Or just in carbs?
How much dough are we talking and when would one expect a rise?
We're a very new business and can only pay minimum wage at the moment. Hence the free food and bread
Sorry, don't have any puns to add, I just kneed some dough.
Excellent bread puns, by the way.
We don't make cakes. Only bread and cardamom buns!
Nah, bun dat fam!
I'm on a roll now!
Stop loafing around and apply!
I'm a ginger. If I get this job, that will make me the gingerbread man...
You posted 8 months ago for a similar job, when do you expect to not be new?
I did this for a bit, great guys, good job and great bread.
I would expect it's not a question of being new, but more the limiting factor of how many loaves you can get out of the small facility they're using, and thus how many shops they can supply.
That said, if this was being paid at the living wage I may still be doing it. But i enjoyed the work
