Yeah a lot to like on that one.

Nah. Just another derivatives trekking bike that's been rolled in Radavist and the Functional bike thread.

And that Hunq is basically a cross check, gotcha.

just reading about the dynamo dropouts - didn’t know that was a thing - they sound (& look) great!

Have a watch of his Rondini build, and the Roadini he built for a friend.
(I you haven't watched em already). -

I watch all his vids in spite of myself. I despise “lifestyle content influencer marketing” but he builds sick bikes and films them in pretty places so i always cave and click. He seems like a nice guy but i have these hangups.

I absolutely love his videos, he seems super nice and is quite funny. I like his approach to creating videos, the way he films, overlays commentary etc.
You can tell he's just a massive bike nerd and let's face it, we can all relate to that in some way.

but i have these hangups.
I like his vids, but as soon as he starts pushing product etc (IMO He got dangerously close with the Brooks stuff) I'll probably drop out. I like a slower paced bike video.

I like Probably Riding My Bike, there’s Riv’ content, but the only thing they are selling is Coffee and rice based snacks.
-
• #217
I like the videos, I like seeing his trips and can get behind everything he's on about but he makes me want to fall asleep he's that bloody boring to listen too.
-
• #218
This is true. They don’t sound too bad on your phone, but on the tv it’s awful.

truly can't disagree, i bet meeting him in person would be a delight because he has a deep nerd understanding of what makes cool bike stuff cool.
there's an element of jealousy if i'm honest, but he's still an influencer and this i cannot abide. -

yeah at least a lot of the stuff he seems to like is older stuff you have to buy second hand. respect him for making that klein video when he has his own brand aluminum mtb he could have been flogging again instead.
Nice!
