The London Bike Polo community is petitioning Southwark council to have the courts we play at in Elephant and Castle resurfaced.
We are currently 150 odd signatures off the amount necessary for it to be discussed by the council, but obviously the more the better.
So if you have a moment to sign (all that is required is a name and email address) and even share the petition, that would be greatly appreciated!
Also if anyone is interested in playing polo come down at any time (details of when we play in the bike polo forum) or come to one of our new beginners' sessions (first Monday of each month, Newington Gardens SE1, 7:30pm)
We'll lend you bikes, mallets etc... to get you started.
Dear El-figs community, pls halp with our petition

Has this been resolved yet?
I think we received enough initial votes.
Emmet isn't on the forum all that much so perhaps @M_A_X or @Velocio could remove it from being a front page sticky.
We pitched to the council, they were supportive, now we need to put in a funding bid. Will hear in Jan
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
