After watching a film with Bruce Willis skateboarding naked around Venice Beach I have decide to quit my job.
Didn't finish the movie as it was kind of boring.
There will be a fulltime role (M-F) running an office, booking and logistics at Bikeworks in Bethnal Green coming up early August (maybe earlier for handover).
The co-workers are great and what I have been doing would really suit a friendly person with a bunch of useful bicycling and cycle industry knowledge who is passionate about getting people peddling and learning about bicycle maintenance.
The role is also the first point of contact for the company so being cool on the phone/email is a must.
Decent IT and bicycle maintenance skills are always useful around here too.
Another desirable skill would be the ability to drive a highsided LWB van in London and not freak-out.
If interested PM and I will pass your details on.
I have uploaded a job description if there are any interested forumengers (it is also up on Charity Job UK).
Go check it out!
Just did. And forwarded to my son. If he doesn't apply I will!
Applications will shut on the 28th - 12:00 noon.
