I run Talbot Frameworks. I've built lots of bikes for people on here. So what, got a problem?
I started a new business with Caren Hartley, from Hartley cycles. Yeah she's a woman, she owns a mill and makes stuff, big whoop wanna fight about it?
We are both really busy and successful and modest (I'm more modest than her) and decided to make a new firm that batch produces framesets, to get more people riding our bikes. Yeah it's a great idea, we came up with it all on our own.
Why does anyone buy a Talbot? Sick candy fadez. Why does anyone buy a Hartley? Got cool bridges and head badges and stuff. So we stuck those things together and made a bike. It's also got other stuff on it, I don't know, whatever. Here's the spec's.
Road Disc brake specific bike
Hand Made from Reynolds 853, Columbus spirit
and life and dedaccai zero tubing
Columbus futura gravel fork with through axle, flat mount disc,
mudguard mounts and tapered 1 1/8 - 1 1/4 carbon steerer
Flat mount disc dropouts
Through axle front and QR rear
Internal routing for brake cables
Internal routing through frame for Dynamo cables
Bi-axially ovalised downtube and top tube
The price for this frameset, and everyone to like you? £1750. That includes the Columbus Futura fork and a Chris King headset. But what's this? A MaSS1VE D1SC0uNT for LFGSS gang?
£1290. That's right. The headset and fork cost near enough £437 (they actually cost more, but just run with me on this) which means you're getting a frame, built by me and Caren for £853. Woah, symmetry. Look how far we've come, but still humble! (You can't buy the frame seperately, don't even ask bro). This offer is for the first batch of 30 framesets, when they're gone they're gone. Isn't that a great phrase? Repeat something for effect. Repeat something for effect.

SRS though, any questions just drop me a line.
froth at mouth
times like these i regret having just one pair of legs .. time to find some kind of justification ..
This frameset is part of the "#buyers basket", a sample selection of goods used to gauge the buying potential of your average cycling micro influencer. If you want to maintain that position here amey, you better start buying.
If this were a gravel biek that could take a 650b wheel set I'd have already paid you money.
Please say the above is possible
From the website:
"...be twinning our smaller frames with 650c wheels..."
Will you except Cyclescheme vouchers?
sadly i don't need a smaller frame
You say Reynolds 853 but link says 631🤔
Any chance of extra braze-ons, specifically, a pump peg and an extra set of bottle cage bosses? I know that doesn't exactly fit with the batch production approach ...
There's no shipping options for outside the UK. Will this change?
Believe me, not the link. I'll have that changed. Its 853.
Afraid not, what yousee is what you get I'm afraid. I do offer custom frames though.... ;)
Please email us and we can send you a personal link. We definitely ship worldwide, but we haven't worked out how to make PayPal charge the ride amount for different coubtries.
What size do you want to run? I'll post photos with a tyred guage to give you some clearance to peruse
Give me a little moment to check ;)
Something like a 650b schwalbe g one or similar tyre.
wow, 2 of my fav british builders coming together for a collab....this is really nice and tempting. Is the paintwork/colourscheme standard too or can it be personalised?
I've seen this bike in the flesh and it's seriously sikk to da maxxxx
First photo leak from team building event
I echo this question with regards to the Halfords cycle2work vouchers. Sigma etc are now accepting them and I have one in hand ready for use.
What you see is what you get, it's all done by hand so there will be some minor variation, but nothing 'speccable' if that makes sense?
I am looking into the plausibilty of it now.
understood! I think we will be in talk in the future for a custom then ;)
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
