FLY6 dead afer 2 years

All,

Any FLY6 users out there?

I bought mine in April 2015 and it has worked well up until about 6 weeks ago when it started turning itself off after 5 minutes.

I have had lengthy e-mail discussions with CYCLIQ who have advised me to charge it using a wall charger, reformatting the SD card, updating the Firmware etc, all of which have proved fruitless.

I am now faced with binning it as the warranty only lasts for 12 months. I can't say I'm pleased. I wouldn't expect a brand new replacement in exchange for a unit which is 2 years old but it's disappointing that something which wasn't cheap can't be repaired. I have only used it, on average, 3 times a week.

Has anyone had any similar experiences? Has your FLY6 lasted longer than 2 years?

Could be your sd card, I had a similar issue with a GoPro and it turned out my sd card just decided to stop being compatible. Changed sd card and works well again.

Thanks. I'll give that a try.

How do you get the FLY6 files (DCIM / FLY6.ver / Set time and date, etc) onto the new SD card?
