I had a set of those BLB's and they are not worth that considering new omniums cost that in the right place, so don't resort to them.

Use matt clearcoat on shiny black ones?

i'll have a think about the clearcoat as a solution.
appreciate the advice on the BLB will avoid, thought long and hard as to whether i can afford the omniums.
At a similar price point, found the Miche Pistard 2.0 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Pistard-2-0-Blk-175-51T-/152487970735) anybody got thoughts on those?

Second hand omniums can be had here cheaper than those blb cranks if you have a little patience.

the miche cranks don't included a bottom bracket, so add £20 to the cost of them.

Hi All,
I'm in the market for a new single speed crankset. Got quite a stealthy matt black set-up going on and I'm really struggling to find a nice matt black set of cranks to go with, everything seems to be glossy.
Only thing I've found is BLB Notorious Track Crankset which is a little too pricey @ £139 and has a shiny silver inner to hollow BB.
Any ideas anyone? (looking £40-£100 mark)
Thanks
