Unfortunately his base know very little about the outside world. Most get their information solely from Fox and Twitter.
Literacy rates in America are shocking.
America is quickly becoming a feudal society.

Culture war! Without even leaving the couch.
It’s the trans folks’/liberals/elites/women’s fault.
US much vaunted army might even stand a chance of breaking their losing streak in that one.

The US kept only the northern half of Mexico in the 1800s because they failed to eliminate guerrillas south of the current border. The Mexican Govt itself struggles to keep things in check using every tool available to them. There’s zero chance a US invasion would result in a traditional victory for the US, if a victory is possible at all.
Canada is a bit safer from invasion because 1) historically white population [sorry, native Canadians], and 2) it would piss off the US’ most vital other allies: the UK in Europe, and Australia and New Zealand in South Asia. All 4 occupy crucial positions to counter geopolitical threats, and all 4 have fallen in behind the US for ≈ a century.
That said, the Trojans took in that horse and the UK lost Singapore to a bunch of cyclists, so clearly country-changing mistakes can be made.

As Marco Rubio said this week, the world is no longer unipolar and so America needs to change how it behaves in the world and recognise that multipolar reality
Seems they recognise that are in to managed decline or stabilising decline

I kind of want him to just use his bigly masculine energy and stick 50% tariffs on every country just to watch the fallout...

It feels like we are living through historic stupidity. Even Dubya's invasion of Iraq seems intelligent by comparison. It ought to just be a dream, but when you wake up and check the headlines...

Is that a picture of Trump painting himself into a corner? He’s going to war against the FBI.
Re the tariffs, he has been so obnoxious that he can’t back down without looking weak. Tariffs are staying no matter how much damage they do.
Magats are more interested in hurting others than helping themselves. -

He's not going to war with the FBI he's gutting them.

The war's over and he won. The FBI/justice system had a crack at him between 2020 - 2024 and lost. They aren't going to get a second chance. Agree with your last sentence though.

The traditional thing to do when the economy is crumbling and instability is rising would be to start a nice little foreign war to unite the country behind one's regime, of course
and blame it all on minorities, obv
