@Maj its here!
I loved my Mr Pink - probably my favourite ever bike. But the saddle is currently stuck (I'm an idiot, we all have to learn somehow) and the bottom bracket creaked horribly as it was one of the press fit ones.
Only been for the one ride on the Zig Zag - but first impressions are good, although can definitely feel the extra weight.
Am thinking that if I can get the saddle unstuck I'll respray and rebuild the Mr Pink...
this ones too small :< ?
if this is size M, which it should be , i would be interested. a pick-up in NL could be arranged, if it's somewhere "near" aachen/germany...
Looks nice. Is that Ally Pally?
Guys, before I put the JYD up for sale in Classifieds, any suggestions for a reasonable price?
Some more pics:
complete or frameset?
as a single speed rim brake 29r with a respectable wheelset and free wheel, for a forum price? £4-500
as a "ALL CITY JUNK YARD DOG RARELY SEEN - NICE BUILD" to an all city fan on all city talk UK/EU? £800-1000
the frame is seldom to be seen for sale.
completly old standards
no mash ;-)
something around 700 to 800 euro
but i am biased
I wish I bought the large one @B0N0R was selling many moons ago....
Thanks for your input, Maj. I appreciate it. As you have noticed I placed the ad last night, opting for the lower end of your "rarely see - nice built" price range :)
Thank you, deerheart. Much appreciated.
My beloved rando-curious Mr Pink. This bike has served me very well but is soon to be replaced by a broadly similar custom frameset with cantis and more generous tyre clearance (ie, a Space Horse).
Prior to this build, it was actually a go-fast-ish winter bike. It will most likely revert to this setup once the new frame arrives.
Lovely, both builds.
Every time I see it I wish I had a similar build
No one wanted it so I’ve actually still got it and it’s my Mrs bike
That's really damn cool
My Macho man a bit modified
Dibs when you sell etc..
Is it indeed the large yeah? Looks small
Dibs when you sell.
Looks really good!!
