Sounds shit. Shoulda bought a ground floor flat in Hackney.
top work....good luck with future projects!
Fantastic thread to read through, missed it the first time around.
Ah, yes, well it’s still ongoing!
I’m currently in my shed with a wire brush attachment on my angle grinder cleaning rust off 70 linear metres of steel RSJs ready for painting to make a tractor shed.
Well it never ends with houses. What are RSJs? Google only brings up ski boots.
Rolled Steel Joist - structural steel beams
Uncut and then cut with brackets welded on. Taking me about 2 hours to angle grind the rust off each one, then they need to be painted ASAP to stop it reappearing.
Is that barn yours too?
Dibs if so.
Ha, sadly not, that one is father in laws. Long term plan is to replace it with a more usable steel shed and convert that one, all the doors are too low to fit much machinery in currently.
how much do you want for it?
Sadly not mine to sell, I just advise.
