Oof. That’s good
One of the best pages so far.
Riverside from 1994.
Next step is 2x 10 and baby seat
This is cool
This is superb
Just finished my new RGR build.
I figure this is the best place for this, what are my options for shifting 10sp road derailleurs on a riser setup?
My online research has left me confused. I’d prefer trigger shifting but not ruling out thumb shifting either.
Microshift? Sunrace? Aaah
What derailleurs do you have?
Rd5700 currently shifting with 4600 shifters.
Ah ok. Lots of options then .. Sl-4600 trigger shifters, microshift sl-t10 or similar thumb shifters . Not much difference in RRP.
Friction shifters would also work, though you have to be relatively precise with gear changes on 10sp .
I preferred trigger shifters , ended up changing the drivetrain for Shimano mtb stuff though
Thanks man, this is the first time I have ever had anything geared that’s not 8sp. Going from infinite compatibility to something new has been confusing.
The Shimano stuff can be annoying as they have changed cable pull ratios between series . But anything 4600 or 5700 compatible will work
Bravo sir, bravo!
Thanks, I'm pretty pleased with it. Just need to stop wincing whenever I hear so much as a peep from the wheels
