Outer Shell drawcord with different inserts for different camera/lenses.

Their strap / cross body strap is also excellent if you want to wear it.

Something to have easy access to the camera.
I was thinking of this but I'm not sure if it's a good idea with a sweaty back and all the shite from the rear tire ending up on the camera.

I also have a PS Bagworks universal stabiliser. Deffo need a UV protective filter and it will get sweaty, a weatherproof camera is ideal. Have friends who also bring a dry bag should the weather turn.
On the upside, it feels a better solution for not shaking the camera internals to bits.

Do you recommend it?

If you can accept that the velcro might mess with the aesthetics of the strap you are attaching it to (cosmetic fraying), it works as intended.
I've also never managed a perfect balance and have to rotate the camera frequently which could be laziness on my part in not trying to get a perfect fit.
Niggles aside, it has allowed me to take my camera to some cool places.. and then take it off to use my strap as normal.

Hi, is someone using an hybrid with M lenses or LTM lenses ? I'm a Nikon user but I saw Sony is making some good stuff.
Specs needed : full frame, with the easiest way to focus MF lenses, good in high ISO (3200max), around 1000€ used with the adapter. -

How it started, downsize and put the cash into savings. How it’s going, buy a Leica
🙋♂️ right here.
Got an XT2, but wanted something simpler/rangefinder-y. Looked at an X Pro 1. Read a bunch of glowing stuff. Bought a used Q from MPB.
What do I need to know? Really quite excited to take more pics this year. Parent life has meant less riding and less snapping.

I'm facing a similar challenge.
Just cashed in my DSLR kit as its too bulky to carry around with kids.Next challenge for me is to decide on something small that will go in my pocket when out and about with the kids. Ideally need to get into a shop to judge for myself but current contenders are Dan's X-E3 with a pancake 27mm or a Ricoh GR iii.
On paper, Ricoh wins for Pocketability.
Fuji wins for flexibility/option of other lenses in future.Any real-world experiences from you lot comparing these two cameras?
Any other contenders I should consider?

I’ve got the XT-3 (XE3’s bigger brother with viewfinder) but I believe it’s got very similar sensor and options. I really rate it, but I do appreciate the extra buttons and dials (I’m still wedded to analogue switches!) as the menus are very details but not fab for fast changes. Great thing with Fuji is the customisation if you don’t like the defaults and the menu has some “speed dial” settings that are very handy to quickly choose your favoured options.
I’ve also got the 27mm pancake and love it. Took the XT3 and 27mm pancake as my only camera/lens around Korea last year knowing I’d always have a small bag and it was perfect. Never felt too cramped, nor too wide (at least that you could t move into position for). Autofocus seemed pretty snappy too, never bothered me but I’d imagine a bonus with kids running around.

Hey,
I'd like to get an action cam or GoPro, something.
I'm on a budget so does anyone have a recommendation? Happy to go second hand.
A mount also to attach it to my bike.
Thanks -

Get a Go Pro.
I have a Hero 7 Black, it still does everything I need it to. Plenty of second had ones available (even newer models as we're on 13 now I think?). -

DJI Osmo action 4 is a good price at the moment.
Bigger sensor for better low light than Gopro, slick quick release magnetic mounting system, which is great for the bike, more waterproof as standard, and comes with a horizontal cage, which acts as protection as well. -

Thanks guys.
I just asked a friend who makes YouTube MTB videos and he also recommended the DJI Osmo action 4.
I'll need to get something secondhand though as I can't afford a new one of those right now. -

Further to action cams, anyone use one with a display as a mirror substitute for a scooter/motorcycle?
Maybe better to ask in that thread. -

Out of curiosity, anyone in a position to comment on how the new 40mp Fuji sensor compares to the 26mp sensor for dynamic range and colour rendition? I’m not too fussed about the AF as half of my lenses are manual, but I am very interested in tonal rendition (and can’t really justify the expense of going medium format, although if I won the lottery that’s probably what I’d do).

I have a Fuji XF10, basically their version of the Ricoh, I’d be interested in swapping with the aforementioned X-E3 to try it out for a few days. I miss having a viewfinder.
Safely tucked away or periodically snapping as you go?
