You could also just enlarge the hole on the back to 8mm for a recessed fitting -

Hi Guys,
I'm refurbing an old frame and need a set of brakes with a nut fitting. I'm using all new kit for the build and would prefer to use campag.
I bought a set of skeleton brakes but they use a recessed fitting that has a bigger diameter than the brake fixing eye.
No doubt many of you have hit this on your builds. I've spotted a set of Tektro calipers on SJS Cycles that will work but I'd prefer to use Campag or Dia Compe for nostalgic reasons.
Any suggestions folks?
