  • Maybe have a full black kit for winter, white comes out to play for 4 days of summer?

  • This bike isn't leaving the house unless it's bone dry and sunny!

  • Doesn't mean that it can't dress for the weather, even if it isn't going out.

  • True

  • B with a black saddle.

I do think the silver bar /stem looks nicer as it were, but also makes it a little dull. The Syncros kit and white hoods add some interest.

  • The Syncros looks well whack.

  • Syncros is a bit like putting tuning parts on a classic BMW e30 coupe. You may have done it when young but it's probably best to keep it close to original now.

(I don't actually mind the Syncros look though)

  • Syncros stuff is period correct - their stems and posts were used on (for e.g.) high end Serotta at the time.

  • ^ Same as Klein, according the catalogs. ;)

  • Which setup has the saddle at the wrong height?

  • Option A with the 6400 post was on the absolute minimum insertion mark, and might be too low - I've not ridden it other than around the flats, but it's counting on a "tall" saddle to make it work.

On the other hand the Syncros is too high - I've just stuck it in for the photo.

  • Syncros parts looks ace!

  • B with black tape, hoods and saddle.

  • Just spotted that there's a cream Flite Ti in the description of a bike for sale over on the Look thread - he might split it if you're still after one?

  • White is the one I think, speaking of which I just lost an eBay auction for one last night. Damn it.

  • Right, I need to sell this one:

Roll up tall people, and buy the bike of your childhood dreams!

  • How many dorrahs?

  • Did you buy it already?

  • Bought it, collecting it tonight, been offered a 20" in Moonrise (rarest of all paintjobs), but I would need to sell this to fund the smaller, more neon Attitude.

Dov- I would like £1,950, but that would be negotiable for a quick sale.

  • Can someone get Neil a referall to PTKBA (pre-Trek Klein buyers anonymous), this is getting out of hand...

  • Moonrise ( rarest of all paintjobs )

Lovely. Get Higgs to lose some weight and you'll have room to keep both.

  • No way I'd pay anywhere near £2k for an old mountain bike. You need to really like Klein's for that.

  • They are the air cooled 911 of the mountain bike world

  • swoon... more pictures?
