Road frame - I'm 6'1 - suprise me

I've been riding my cannondale caadx now for about 2 years and I've toured on it around the UK and around the world and I love it very dearly, but I'd quite like to have something else in my stable and start a project.

So I'm looking for a road frame... doesn't need to be in amazing condition so long as it works.

Requirements are:

• it fits me, I'm 6'1
  
• Can take up to 28c tyre
  
• Steel or carbon (want to try something different) with a carbon fork.
  
• 1 1/8 fork
  
• Relatively modern
  
• racier geo than my cx bike
  
• no horrendously expensive.

You'll do well to find a better steel frame at that price

Thanks - It's lovely but looks rather heavy and retro for what I'm after. I've got a comfortable distance bike, I'd like this one to be a little nippier.

Too big?

It's alu but I've got a Giant Defy SL frame which is about 2yrs old in size L (57.5) if that would be of interest at all? Carbon fork, headset, BB & clamp included, it fits your requirements inc. size I'd say bar the frame material...

That condor is lovely but I think too big, and also probably too expensive...

Still searching - ideally not after something alu unless it's super interesting. Could be interested in a caad10
