Think we’re going to have to go even bigger if we’re hoping to keep our rotors out of the mud
-
• #15804
Mud's pretty rare in central Australia, but not unheard of. If it does rain in the Outback, it turns into peanut butter hell.

What's going on with the rear, it's designed that way or it's because of the tiny wheels? Looks like a Surly trucker

453mm of sweet sweet chainstay.

Those Ritchey's look so nice.

I was genuinely disgusted at myself for getting to the end of the meandering waffle of the Outback review on Radavist

https://bikepacking.com/bikes/hudski-doggler-review/I'd like to ride this modern retro mtb allroad hybrid gravel bike.

You can get an On-one Bootzipper if that your thing
-
• #15813
I got to the end and wanted one, even worse.

I don't know what Tommy has to say, but to quote Grant:
I have a kayak, I’ve been in a few boats, and I’ve ridden octillion
bikes, so it’s mostly from that point of view that I like long
chainstays. -

You can get a Trek 720 Multitrack if that your thing
-
• #15816
Honestly, same.

one of you owns a inbred, the other a big bro, go ride your hudskis or outbacks, you also both own a monster surly and well, i guess you have the gt bela? drop bar it????
-
• #15818
I wouldn't buy the Ritchey without selling two bikes tbh.
-
• #15819
what if you built on your previous experience of lifting "abandoned" bikes, stole two more and sold them :taps-skull:

Grr Saguro out of stock and has held up my order for 2 fucking weeks. Finally removed it but now need to look again for a tyre. Might just get a WTB Sendero. No no no I want wider.
-
• #15822
you need a bike that clears 29x2.25-2.4 comfortably as those tyres are widely available
-
• #15823
Yeah, I want a hardtail but that's a whole other project that I've no time for right now.
I have a wheel sitting here with a 2.1 on it that could roll but I don't want a sidewall blow out on the first ride if it does get rubby. If these dickheads had proper stock levels I'd have had the tyre on the wheel weeks ago. I still want something bigger than 47mm if possible.
-
• #15824
What tyre you need? I have some
-
• #15825
I've got some unused tubeless Saguaros in my stockpile that I can post you for whatever I paid for them (a mere £15 for the pair I think). PM me later!
Edit: oops, no, they were £14 each. But I want rid.

Sintered pads and you’ll be grand.
I prefer GRX as they feel lighter to shift and feel better to brakes.
