Had a blast round on the 1x1(0)
Awesome, loving the inverted yeti decals and has it got a yeti/surly mash up headbadge? Don’t think many people got the yeti reference when I painted my rebuilt Orange P7.
Late to the party but these headbadges are pretty neat.
Not the greatest pic in the world but you get the idea. Finished today, super happy with how it rides. Maybe some (larger) tanwall tires in the near future and I'm done.
Best MS I have seen, even with those vile forks.
Want some flat pedals for my Straggler - what is a good option for under 20 quid or so? Don't know a thing about flatties
Dmr v6 are actually good for the cash
Those bars look perfect. A really simple/smart bike. Did they work out to be about the right reach?
Thank you, yes they did fortunately -given the price of anything nitto...
Number 2 almost done, just waiting for saddle and bars to arrive...
Clearing out the shed, any interest? Pretty sure I have all the spares somewhere. Yours for what ever a fair price is.
These had a recall notice. It’d be worth getting the parts to make it safe if you haven’t already.
Yeah I saw that some time ago. I don't have those bits.
Here’s the link:
Have contacted the original supplier for the additional hardware. Thx
Yea plz will pm
Blimey, that's quite some recall.
Nothing compared to the 150,000 bikes Brompton recalled for a 0.02% BB axle failure!
Ha, thanks, I didn't know about that one. Sounds grim for all involved.
Madness, they “paid” out £15 credit per bike, I replaced literally hundreds!
Do you mean you had to swap BB axles for a fee of £15 that Brompton paid you? Or did that go to the customers?
Brompton gave the shop £15 account credit per unit replaced and registered
Cheers. That doesn't sound quite enough for a BB axle replacement, but I suppose it's all in a day's work.
Can any owner comment Karate Monkey frame - pros/cons?
