Not to mention the quantity of new paths opened up to avoid existing muddy paths
or where they were hard pack and had become bog
im sure theres a gravel thread somewhere you guys would enjoy
Extra bread pudding for Luke
Everyone else is banned
I feel attacked
Being randomly attacked is part of the honey badger experience
That and waking up in a bog?
The light in the forest these days is unreal
That does look nice :-)
Epping is a world of mud at the moment, I guess?
I would go to a high rocky point with a scope and wait.
It'll be ok when summer arrives
Surprisingly not. There is mud, but also dry lines in most places.
It's not a total bog, let's leave it like that
The 'Epping is dry & dusty day' has long since passed
Embrace your mud spikes
dry & dusty day
dry & dusty day
Maybe 3-4 days in total this "summer"
Any plans for a September ride? I'd be keen to get involved.
I'm hoping to get things started again in the spring
Until then, seems a shame nobody else is organising anything while the weather's nice :-(
OK, that and the above is enough encouragement for me to organise a September ride.
A nice chill day out suitable for MTBs and Gravels alike. Many stops at the teahut.
Options are 19th / 25th / 26th Sept.
Tagging badgers past and present, let me know when you're around
@Howard @Dogs @TvH @spotter @7Üp @psg1ben @PhilDAS @amey ++ everyone I forgot x
be up for a first badger outing. got september off so pretty free :)
Feel like a legit badger after being tagged for the first time, I'm away for all of those dates unfortunately, but I'm not afraid of the winter and I have an underused MTB
If something happens this Sunday and I'm not too busy, I might take the opportunity.
I no longer have an MTB but I'm in on the gravel Rig
