otherwise you must drop the price to "bump" your thread ie . £300 - down to £295 thats how it works . price must be dropped until sold

You have every right of setting a price, but the rules are (and you should have checked):
a) you can only advertise here and nowhere else
b) you can only bump a post if you either lower the price or add more meaningful info.

I think you know that already very well. Closing a thread (like you already did) and re-advertise can be seen as an abuse of the forum.
