That's the don.
such a short wheelbase!
I assume its not for proper offroading?
Ha ha, not that short, the scale is quite different to normal bikes
Just done a week in the Ardennes on this. Very good. Such a shame to see these frames on the scrap heap.
Holy shit thats sick. Custom frame? How much tire clearance?
Thanks. Yep, frame is from Waltly and fork from Fairlight.
At the front of the sliding dropouts I've got room for 35mm+guards (primary purpose), moved to the back it clears 2.2s but it's a bit too close to ride so will try 2.0 or a bit smaller
lovely. How is it with the front load?
@Belagerent Absolutely fine at all times. Even descending off road in the drops. I’m tempted to try a low trail fork for comparison, but I’ve really no need to, just curiosity.
Y u no positive rise stem?
I’m considering a Velo Orange Cigne. Anything else is too ugly. Although I accept the steerer extender isn’t pretty, it’s a compromise I can live with.
The Cigne is an acquired taste, I think it would look good
The double bottle cage set up is a bit weird looking- there’s also another set of bosses underneath the down tube
My bombtrack is finally back on the road. I love this bike!
I really like the double bottle setup
if anyone goes to Bluewater, it's well worth checking out the Ribble showroom. They've really streamlined the range. Well thought out bikes.
If you’ve got your eye on an old MTB on eBay for conversion, do it quick…https://youtu.be/K-NGiqdxDGc
Jumping on the bandwagon.
@cryptthing your Schwinn is gonna end up in porn after this :D
hahah it's always been p0rn to me :)
yup, with the excellent but pricey wald tote bag from blue lug
never thought that "pricey" and "wald" could be associated with each other
