Wheels Mfg produce many BB adapters.
BBright to Shimano(and other 24mm systems)
BBright to SRAM(22mm/24mm) <- This is what you want.Enduro also make them:

A quick google shows that things were pretty unsatisfactory until Rotor produced a GXP version of their BBR -> 24mm BB.
Seems to be hens teeth though.
Having watched eBay for PMs for a while now it looks like used SRAM bb30(ish) cranks with SRMs go for less than new Stages. Jus' sayin.

Yeah - I couldn't find the Rotor one anywhere - was going to ask LBS about ordering the part...
I know what you mean re: bb30 SRMs (skinny is selling one atm too) but gxp Stages works on all my bikes (seriously: track, winter, nice bike, sscx). It's a bit of a bind, but I really cannot afford to start shopping around for other power meters at the moment. I'm trying to get rid of stuff, not accumulate it!

thanks for this. Looks promising.

BBRight is wider than 68mm no? So even if it did press in once you'd installed the GXP cups there wouldn't be enough GXP axle and the cranks would bind.

damn. Oh well - would have be a on use only item anyway. Plastic threads ffs.

(please say yes..)

AFAIK, GXP is 22mm/24mm, not 24mm-both-sides like HT2.
-

I thought it was stepped?

This thread needs @mdcc_tester
-

Yes it is stepped - the drive side is 24mm and the NDS is 22mm.
The Rotor BBR -> GXP looks like a homebrew effort where they've pressed a 1mm sleeve into the NDS bearing of their BBR -> HT2 adapter.
Eureka moment - buy the BBR -> HT2 BB and the Chris King or Hope HT2 -> GXP adapter. Bosh, job done.

Sounds expensive. Get a proper frame.
-
• #16
Hope adapter is £9, BBR-> HT2 £45.
But it might catch fire, who knows.

Got this reply from Cervelo on Twitter:
Enduro makes a good one. Available at your local Cervélo retailer. You can find part numbers at http://bbright.net/supportingbrands.aspx
They recommend the two solutions Emyr suggested (winner!):

Lol@ expense - this is a £3,000 frameset we are talking about..
I am seriously considering doing this though. Bloody nonsense.

In case anyone is having the same problem - I ended up ringing Sigma , who were very helpful. They have the Wheels MFG adaptors in stock (but all of them on their website) - cost £32 or something. Should be delivered this week, will keep you posted.
If I can't get it to work, it's fairly likely I will sell the frame :(

Have a Cervelo r5 frame with BBright bottom bracket - need to convert it so I can use GXP cranks with it (because: Stages). What is the best method?
