Thought it was the F5?
-
• #130
No no. Swiftly decided against that. Looks better as a doily coaster for a tea party.
Had the Sugino Mighty Como but the chump sent me the wrong size so forked out a bit more and went for something a bit special, the aarn 47.

Would look better with 75s. Cant see your chain set/seatpost/stem combo working but id happily be proven wrong.

We'll both find out tomorrow 😐

While I think James' style is a little harsh, I do agree. Riding brakeless in urban areas is just too risky to justify 350 grams of weight-savings. I think it was Ed Scoble who once wrote 'just take a big shit before you ride.'
Example: I quit brklss when I was cruising down a street and noticed a woman stepping onto the street from behind a parked car. Only when I had madskidzed to a halt did I notice that she was pushing a pram that I couldn't see because it was behind the parked car. Conclusion: people in traffic are dumb; please give yourself the ability to stop on a penny, not skid into someone's baby in a really cool fashion.

You muppet, that was not a post from my account!

Appreciate concern.
Been riding brakeless for many a year now. Yes all it takes is one incident to change that and I end up on my head. (not that it would matter re. brainless)
Im not sure where you guys ride but Edinburgh city centre is fairly quiet with wider roads. So plenty of space etc. I've not needed a brake in the many years of cycling my fixed wheel but this is for another thread, yes? -

Wow! You have imitators?

Flattery ...

I know. I'm just surprised.

-

Here you go you ravenous hyenas. Tear it a new one...
I'm stoked on how it turned out. Feels incredible to ride, like a prize winning 🐎 in its peak. Responsive, smooth, buttery, sensual, arousing, then i fell off.

A nitto post away. Serious about the fall?
-
• #147
No not serious.
I know about the seatpost. Its plaguing me.

You could angle the saddle a little more to match the stem angle, it would give better aeros and as steeper constant downhill feeling.
-
• #149
Aye. Been playing around with it a bit. Not had a decent enough ride with it yet to decide.
