A friend has a camping pitch up for grabs - 1 tent spot for all 3 nights. She said she'd take £30 for it (half-price)... Eroica don't do refunds but transferring the pitch is OK, they say.

I don't have a spare but just to mention you can do whichever ride you like on the day, just turn up at the start line for that section of riders.

bike build still isn't finished. should have ben but on assembly I discovered the rear hub I've built up is only suitable for a single speed freewheel - wtf? just ordered a new bub set & rims to build up #veryannoying

You do need a ride ticket but I think @hairnetnic meant that once you have a ride ticket, it doesn't matter which length you do. So you don't need to ask specifically for a spare 30 mile ride ticket - any ride ticket will do!

If anyone does need a camping ticket, I think my friend's is still up for grabs at £30.

err, yeah, you need a race number at least. though it's open roads etc.

Hi, sorry been offline over the weekend. I think it is; @tilover is interested but he got in touch with my friend and there was some complications over carparking. Eroica GB aren't being very friendly about transferring or refunding bits of the ticket! I'll reply to your PM now.

yeah they will only let her transfer the full family ticket with parking and festival and I only need the camping- stop not figured out how I'm getting there or where I will be sleeping but i will!

Yeah St Pancras to Matlock via Derby is out unless you want to ride to Luton and then slug it out on the one train an hour service.

We're going via Kings X to Chesterfield on Virgin Trains East Coast, 10 miles at the other end to Bakewell.
