So has nobody noticed that Greipel's just won a chipper??!?
Pfft, who cares about 'off-road' races? :)
I note they’ve all gone for sub-40mm tyres, 2x & 700c. Makes you think.
Did swift get it?
Tro bo !
Haven’t found video yet but half the peloton in TroBro decide to cut an uphill corner and just rode up a grassy bank startling some spectators a bit

Bernal was impressive today.. Still nothing compared to what Pidcock did in the 3rd and 4th lap
That gravel was a far nicer surface than some Essex lanes
His first grand tour stage...
Hadn’t realised he hadn’t won one before.
He came first on the stage that got neutralised in the TdF he won but it didn't count. (pretty sure it should though)
You could see it meant a lot to him.
All the cool kids
So Dominik Nerz is a very happy chef in his own restaurant now! Chapeau.
He didn't realise he'd won today, until his soigneur told him:
It was a very cool finish. I would love him to find the success that was predicted after his TdF win.
He’s a sweetheart.
Stone cold killer attack though.
I hadn’t figured that he’d be quite that strong over a short uphill finish.
I'm delighted for him
I wonder what this tells us about the efficiency of race radios. Did the team car deliberately withhold this info from him, did the radio stop working, did the team car not realise he was at the front of the race? Many questions.
I doubt he was able to hear much on the radio other than 'keep going' when he was smashing it up the last 600m.
He might have performed better thinking he was just trying to claw as much time against his rivals, rather than thinking he was going for the win.
It wasn’t clear he was going to win until the last 400m when he was sprinting uphill on gravel in z7! I wouldn’t read too much into it. But sweet moment nonetheless. Big love to Berny. Hope you’re reading this m8.
Thought a lot was made of remco's losses yesterday, but given his positioning at the bottom of the gravel seemed he rode it strongly? Came up past just about everyone.
