I used to have a velcro rain jacket. I guess they're not as tight fitting and a bit bulkier (much like me).
Put it on backwards. Simple.
Yeah, so much for all that early talk of a poor Giro. Stages, podium? GC?
Still flappy. Won't someone think of those watts?!
I'm big-boned enough I don't usually have to bother with outer layers so that's a nice bonus.
I'm glad I watched that stage with no spoilers. That was pretty fucking decent eh!
Totally gripping. My plan to spend the afternoon working 'with Eurosport on in the background' failed spectacularly. On the work productivity front, anyway.
What’s going on with the Giro then? Starting later down the road?
Commentary mentioned those, defo better than zip. Magnets I still reckon would be better option, I have used this gillet with extra magnet sleeves for many years and can't see why the same might not work as a front fastener.
Just noticed it's a sprint stage in the Vuelta today too. It will be quite nice to just watch the 4 min highlights on youtube for a change. The last few weeks has been a heavy work load and i'm thankful for this extra rest day.
Maybe they're concerned with the weight of the magnets over zip. But when you look at yesterday's wobbles and flapping jackets that difference is almost certainly nullified.
just watching the breakaway (which I presume is what you're referring to) - weirdly aggy tension between those two in this episode
I think magnets and heart rate monitors don't play well together?
i have an older jumbo-visma rain jacket with a full length velcro, race cut and all, it works perfect
I couldn’t work out why both sunweb riders didn’t just stop and zip up properly at the summit having failed before hand. It would have cost them about 10 seconds.
"we discussed these tactics ahead of the stage... on the stelvio, wilco said he couldn't keep the wheel and was on the radio to tell jai to carry on" (paraphrased from here https://www.eurosport.com/cycling/giro-d-italia/2020/giro-d-italia-start-interview-matt-winston-eng_vid1374177/video.shtml)
doesn't really align with what kelderman said to rai (i.e. "I've got no idea why he didn't wait")
Rumours that the team had planned to have the rider’s mothers placed at strategic points on tomorrow’s stage have been denied by a team spokesman this morning.
It rears its' ugly head again
Matteo Spreafico suspended after adverse results
Are they actually riding today or just bussing to the end of the stage!?-eurosport player only has 2 hours 20 scheduled for live coverage now....
Lachlan Morton in the chasing group.
What's this commentary on about?
Aren't we all for employee's rights and the right to work in a safe environment?
brian smith talking some utter pish
No. Screw those guys, we want blood, pneumonia and death!
Just get these across the peloton and get a helping hand to Velcro the back up for you
can I get this in shakedry please
